Monday 24 December 2018 | 11:39 CET | News
The programme was launched by the education, industry and digital agenda ministries together with ICT development agency Red.es back in 2015, with the government pledging to allocate EUR 220.9 million to connect 5.25 million students in over 16,500 state-funded schools, above all in rural areas. The rollout is part of Spain's Digital Agenda objectives and will be funded in part by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
