Spain ports record 575,138 mobile lines in February

Spain lost 250,024 mobile lines and datacards in February 2013, ending the month with a total mobile base of 52.44 million users, down by 5.9 percent over the same month of 2012, according to a report by Spanish regulator CMT. The MVNOs added nearly 119,930 net lines in February, Yoigo saw 45,060 net additions, while Orange shed 39,470 subscribers, Movistar lost 215,140 customers, and Vodafone shed 160,390 users in the month.
