Spain to acquire further 68,100 connected PCs for schools

Spain's ICT development agency Red.es has authorised the acquisition of another 68,100 computers with reliable and quality connectivity for educational centres in the Autonomous Communities of the Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura in a total investment of EUR 29.1 million. The funding is part of the "Educa en Digital" initiative that has already authorised the acquisition of 36,500 computers in Galicia, Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Aragon and Ceuta and Melilla.
