Spain's Adamo invests EUR 40 mln in Cantabria fibre rollout

Monday 5 June 2017 | 09:16 CET | News
Regional Spanish broadband provider Adamo has announced plans to invest EUR 40 million to expand its FTTH service to 200,000 homes in the northern region of Cantabria. The company, recently acquired by Swedish private equity group EQT, currently offers a 1Gbps download and 300Mbps upload FTTH service in Catalonia above all, as well as in the cities of Madrid, Valencia and Seville. Its 3-year rollout in Cantabria will reach all of the region's underserved localities, except for the cities of Santander and Torrelavega, creating 300 direct jobs and 600 indirect ones.
