Broadband provider Adamo is the latest Spanish operator to tweak its tariff portfolio, simplifying its mobile offer to 4 plans ranging from EUR 5 to EUR 20 a month. Subscribers can now choose between the basic ‘Movil Zero’ plan with calls at 20 eurocents for the setup plus 2GB of data for EUR 5, rising to 100 minutes of calls and 2GB for EUR 10, unlimited calls and 3GB of data for EUR 15 and finally unlimited calls and 10GB of data for EUR 20 a month.

The company was last year acquired by Swedish private equity group EQT and pledged to invest over EUR 50 million and create some 1,100 new jobs to bring fibre to over 300,000 households in underserved areas and new towns in the 15 provinces. It currently offers a 1 Gbps download and 300 Mbps upload FTTH service for EUR 54.99 a month, with a 35 percent discount over 3 months and a free Chromecast device.
