Spain's Amper acquires IoT firms for EUR 1.2 mln

Shortly after finalising the sale of its South Pacific business, Spanish telecommunications equipment maker Amper has announced the acquisition of controlling stakes in three local firms with a view to boosting its position in the Internet of Things market. The company said it paid EUR 600,000 for 50 percent plus one of the shares of Ingenio 3000, a firm specialising in data collection techniques related to electric power transport networks which will be renamed Amper Ingenio.
