Thursday 14 March 2019 | 14:18 CET | News
The Spanish football league (La Liga) will finally unveil its long-awaited OTT platform on 25 March, reports business daily Expansion, citing league president Javier Tebas. The dedicated sports streaming network, dubbed LaLigaSportsTV, intends to broadcast live and on-demand content from a range of sports, not just football, starting in August. La Liga has deals in place with 64 national sporting federations but may face legal problems airing content from sports it doesn't organise, said the report.
