Spain's MasMovil, Huawei to offer STB for EUR 3/mth - report

Spain's fourth mobile network operator MasMovil is set to launch an Android-based set-top box for EUR 3 a month to give its customers access to DTT and pay-TV services , reports local daily El Espanol. The STB will be manufactured by Huawei, which is using the venture as a pilot with a view to selling the device to other operators worldwide, said the report, adding that MasMovil has faced problems reaching deals with providers such as Mediapro and HBO to offer premium pay-TV content.
