Spain's MasMovil leads October portability figures

Spanish operator MasMovil again topped the country's mobile portability figures in October, adding a net total of around 24,200 lines during a month in which a total of 515,000 users decided to change operator, according to economiza.com. MasMovil's recently-acquired operator Yoigo added 4,600 users, but its Pepephone brand lost some 4,400 customers after shedding 5,200 the previous month. Rivals Vodafone and Movistar (Telefonica) lost 21,100 and 21,500 mobile customers respectively in October, although Vodafone's figures were offset by the 4,700 new customers of its low-cost brand Lowi.
