Spain's Pepephone removes fibre installation fee

Spanish operator Pepephone has again tweaked the fibre-optic offer it launched via the network of parent company Masmovil and Orange Spain earlier this year. Instead of paying a one-off charge of EUR 90 for the installation of the service, subscribers who sign up to a 12-month permanence clause will no longer be subject to an additional installation charge, with subscribers who break the contract after six months being charged a proportional fee of EUR 45. The monthly charge for the symmetric 100Mbps service remains unchanged at EUR 34.60 a month with no permanence clause and a promise not to
