Spanish consumers call on govt to pay for DTT retuning

Spain's Communication Users Association (AUC) has called on the Spanish government to bear the cost of the new DTT migration that will follow the completion of the so-called digital dividend by 01 January 2015. The government last week confirmed that the new digital dividend plan governing the whole migration process will be approved next month and the latest shift in the frequencies will be completed by the end of the year, requiring another round of retuning for millions of Spanish households.
