Spanish data traffic increases 72% YoY in Q4 - study

Spanish mobile data traffic has increased by 72 percent over the past 12 months as SMS use continues to plummet, according to data included in the latest quarterly report from telecoms regulator CNMC, updated to 31 December. The number of SMS sent by Spanish users fell from 887.74 million in the fourth quarter of 2013 to 613.76 million in the same quarter of 2014.
