Spanish operators lost nearly 400,000 lines in April - CNMC

The Masmovil group gained 12,840 lines gained across its Yoigo, Masmovil, Pepephone, Lebara, Hits Mobile, LlamaYa, Oceans and Lycamobile brands, significantly lower than previous monthly gains, with Vodafone also posting a positive net total of 2,507 lines gained in April. However, Orange Spain (including Jazztel, Amena and Republica Movil) ended up losing 18,271 lines, while Telefonica shed 4,065 lines across its Movistar, Tuenti and O2 brand, an improvement on the 25,000 and 58,000 lines it lost in March and February.
