Spanish police blocks p2p sites, arrests webmasters

The Spanish police has blocked two websites allegedly connected to illegal file-sharing and arrested the two webmasters on grounds of having infringed the country's Intellectual Property Law. The websites in question – seriespepito.com and peliculaspepito.com – are accused of offering links to film and series downloads and streaming sites that violate intellectual property rights. The police released a statement saying that the two men arrested in the towns of Elche and Pozuelo de Alarcon faced fines of hundreds of thousands of euros or even imprisonment.
