Spanish startup raises EUR 700,000 to fund disposable TV

Spanish startup Viuing, which has designed a disposable TV, has raised a total of EUR 700,000 in its first funding round, reports Cinco Dias. The Barcelona-based company has developed a TV made of laminated cardboard to be used at major sporting or cultural events. Its founders said around 250 million people around the world attend events of this type every year and that 80 percent want to follow the action on a tracking screen. They claim their product is the first completely recyclable portable device that picks up a TV signal and broadcasts a live feed of everything that is happening at
