Spanish TV advertising market to rise 6.1% in 2016 - study

Spain's TV advertising revenues are set to increase for the second year running in 2016, rising 6.1 percent to EUR 2.06 billion, according to a forecast from consultancy Arce Media. Broadcasters Atresmedia and Mediaset – with six DTT channels each – are set to share as much as 85 percent of ad revenues, said the report, adding that last year's TV ad spend came to EUR 1.94 billion, with internet ad revenues also growing, by 12.3 percent, to EUR 434 million.
