Spark seeks regulator's clearance for TeamTalk acquisition

The Commerce Commission has announced it has received a clearance application from Spark New Zealand to, either directly or indirectly, acquire up to 100 percent of the shares of TeamTalk. Spark New Zealand currently provides fixed and mobile telecommunications services for residential and business customers. TeamTalk's services portfolio includes provision of access to fibre networks for larger organisations and businesses in the main centres, digital mobile radio and internet and voice services to remote areas. Its business includes Farmside and CityLink.
