Spirent, China Mobile create test system for 5G chipsets, phones

Spirent Communications said it has with China Mobile created a test system for 5G chipsets and smartphones. Developed by China Mobile, the YuHeng evaluation system incorporates Spirent's radio frequency (RF) channel emulation technology. Operators and device manufacturers will be able to test their remote controls systems in the lab with 5G base stations sporting innovations such as massive MIMO beamforming.
