Sprint launches Curiosity IoT precision mapping system with startup Mapbox

Wednesday 9 January 2019 | 11:44 CET | News
Update: 9 January 2019 | 11:49 CET
Mapbox builds "live maps" using data collected from location-enabled sensors that feedback information about the world in real time. Mapbox uses AI to turn the data flows into a picture of real time transit paths that can be used for precise, up-to-date routing. When coupled with Sprint 5G, Curiosity IoT will be able to support artificial intelligence, robotics, edge computing, autonomous vehicles and other IoT systems requiring extreme low-latency and high-bandwidth.
