Sprint pulls video calling T-Mobile 'ghetto'

Sprint pulled an internet video ad after viewers criticised it for being insensitive to minorities and poor people, reports The Verge. The ad showed Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure asking a group of mostly white customers of Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T, "T-Mobile. When I say 'T-Mobile' to you, just a couple of words?" A woman sitting next to him says the first word that came to her mind was "ghetto", acknowledging that it sounds terrible. After first defending the ad, Claure apologised in a tweet, saying "My job is to listen to consumers. Our point was to share customer views. Bad judgement
