Sprint to introduce self-driving robots in NYC to reduce CO2 emissions

Sprint will be putting the "Mobi" self-driving robot, designed to charge electric buses, cars and industrial vehicles, into action in New York City in the first half of 2019. The move comes in response to a call by the city to lower CO2 emissions by 40 percent by 2030. The Mobi units will move to where they are needed using artificial intelligence, advanced Sprint Internet of Things (IoT) technology and the Sprint 5G mobile network.
