SPTC spends SZL 300 mln on NGN

The Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation invested nearly SZL 300 million to upgrade its system for the Next Generation Network, The Times reported. The operator said a huge sum of money was invested in infrastructure, which was essentially needed to ensure smooth communication for all customers of the defunct ONE mobile phones; Fixedfones and data gadgets, including dongles. According to calculations done based on information from SPTC, the amount of money invested in infrastructure and complimentary material is approximately SZL 277 million. This includes network connection
