SSE abandons MVNO plans on O2 network - report

Scottish Southern Energy (SSE) has abandoned plans to launch an MVNO on the O2 UK network, Mobile Today has learned. SSE is understood to have invested around GBP 25 million to set up the venture, which would have targeted its 9.6 million customers. Sources indicate that new Ofgem rules restricting tariff options had affected its ability to operate the MVNO.
