SSE responds to Openreach Filter Connect proposals

SSE Enterprise Telecoms has responded to proposals from Openreach to introduce an Optical Spectrum Access (OSA) Filter Connect solution. Conrad Mallon, SSE ET's Chief Network Architect, said that the Openreach plans are an inadequate alternative to full Dark Fibre Access (DFA) and do not address the industry's concerns.
