SSNf says large operators criticise its plan to offer dark fibre to detached houses

The Swedish Metro Network Association SSNf said it launched its project to offer standardised dark fibre for single dwelling units (SDUs) in October, but has been surprised that operators have written an open letter to regulator PTS criticising the scheme. It said Com Hem was among operators who had participated in meetings on the topic over the past six months, where all the comments were positive. CEO Mikael Ek said SSNF's open networks allow Telia, Com Hem and others to offer their services to end-users and it hopes that its members will soon be able to offer dark fibre to detached homes,
