SSNf says local councils need to be better prepared for infrastructure disruption during election

Swedish metropolitan network association SSNf said a questionnaire that it sent to top municipal officials found poor preparation for any potential interference to IT infrastructure during the general election on 09 September 2018, despite a warning from security police service Sapo. SSNf said Sapo saw a risk that foreign powers could attempt to affect confidence in the voting process during or after the poll.
