Staffordshire starts rural broadband fund

Wednesday 1 March 2017 | 14:17 CET | News
Superfast Staffordshire, the partnership led by Staffordshire County Council and BT, has launched the Community Fibre Partnership Support Fund, to bring faster broadband to rural parts of the English county. The fund will support bringing broadband to the last 4 percent of county premises not covered by any public or private sector broadband upgrade plans. The Superfast Staffordshire partnership has set aside GBP 400,000 for co-funding projects through the CFPSF. As part of the scheme, any money raised by households and businesses in an eligible community can be matched by the fund.
