Stanchart launches mobile and online banking in Tanzania

Standard Chartered Bank has begun providing mobile and online banking in Tanzania and elsewhere in Africa. In Tanzania, the new mobile application has gone live and the bank's customers have been downloading it on their smartphones with the Apple and Android OS. The bank aims to cover 1 million clients in eight markets. Services will be available via laptops, tablets or mobile phones.
