Standard & Poor's upgrades Chorus outlook to stable

Standard & Poor's has revised the outlook for New Zealand fixed network operator Chorus to stable from negative. Standard & Poor's has also affirmed its 'BBB' rating on Chorus and related debt issues. The rating actions follow the release by New Zealand's Commerce Commission (NZCC) of its draft Final Pricing Principle (FPP) for the prices that Chorus can charge for use of its local copper lines and broadband services.
