Singapore operator StarHub boosted its mobile network's speeds to 1Gbps from the existing LTE speeds of 400 Mbps as part of its ongoing network modernization. By simply switching to a 1Gbps-capable phone, customers on its Unlimited Weekend mobile postpaid plans can automatically surf up to twice as fast as before and enjoy a smoother data experience even during peak hours. Compatible phone models include the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ as well as the new Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, and Sony Xperia XZ2.
