StarTimes back Malawian village TV project

Malawian President Arthur Peter Mutharika has instigated a project under which 500 villages across the country will get access to satellite television services, reports Nyasatimes. Each beneficiary village will receive satellite television sets to access up to 21 local and international channels for free. The digital project will be implemented by Chinese firm StarTimes, which operates in nineteen countries with more than 20 million users.
