StarTimes says Zambia will benefit from village satellite TV scheme

StarTimes says that Zambia is among seventeen African countries to benefit from a USD 2.5 billion contract for digital migration, Lusaka Times reported. It revealed that the group signed a USD 273 million contract with the Zambian government for the migration. StarTimes Vice President Guo Ziqi said that Zambia will also benefit from the 10,000 African Villages Satellite Television project, with the government having to identify villages to receive the digital television innovation.
