StarTimes secures rights to Euro football in sub-Saharan Africa

StarTimes announced it has acquired UEFA National Team Football broadcasting rights between 2019 and 2022. The company has secured transmission rights for exploitation in all countries across sub-Saharan Africa, excluding South Africa, and on all media platforms. Football events include the Euro 2020 which will be played from 12 June to 12 July 2020, as well as qualifiers to Euro 2020, the Nations League 2020/21 and European qualifiers to the Fifa World Cup 2022.
