StarTimes to bring satellite TV to Ghana villages

Ghana's ICT ministry in collaboration with StarTimes has launched a project to bring satellite TV to around 300 villages. The project, launched with the aid of the Chinese government, seeks to provide free solar-powered digital TV receiving systems, decoders and projectors, as well as solar lights for 900 locations in 300 communities across the country.
