STC, Tata to launch CDN service in Middle East

Saudi operator STC has signed a partnership agreement with Tata Communications to launch a Content Delivery Network service (CDN) in the Middle East. This agreement would enable fast browsing of video content, footage, voice materials, games and MMS applications of different types in record time to internet customers and users of various applications. Hamoud Al Qisayyir, STC Group VP for wholesale, said the agreement is an extension of STC's strategy to expand regionally and globally via broad investments in major intercontinental cables and its strong relationship in the Middle East and
