Steamroot raises fresh USD 3.2 mln to develop OTT video delivery systems

Founded in early 2014, Streamroot said uses intelligent mesh networks and dynamic multi-sourcing of content. It now powers over 400 million video sessions every month and works with many media groups, including Dailymotion, Canal+, Eurosport and Russia Today. The company also offers cross-device compatibility across desktop, mobile and a range of set-top boxes.
