STMicroelectronics, Sierra Wireless collaborate on connected IoT products deployment

STMicroelectronics and Sierra Wireless have entered an agreement that will enable STM32 microcontroller (MCU) users to benefit from flexible cellular IoT connectivity and edge-to-cloud products from Sierra Wireless. The deal helps product developers tackle the various problems involved with creating and deploying IoT products, including device design and development, enrolment with a cellular network, and connection to cloud services, enabling a quicker time to market, the companies said.
