Stofa picks Irdeto's Cloaked CA for new set-top boxes

Digital platform security provider Irdeto said that Danish fibre company Stofa has picked its Irdeto Cloaked CA for the Android set-top box (STB) that it will launch in autumn 2017. Irdeto said its latest renewable, cardless software security ensures that any form of content delivered to customers will be robustly protected. Stofa is developing the STB with Google, Kaon Media and iWedia.
