Stofa plans alternative to TV channel packages

Wednesday 12 August 2015 | 12:28 CET | News
Stofa is bringing in a new television business model next year, so that customers can opt to be charged either for traditional channel packages, or only for the channels they watch, in the months when they actually watch them. This is in response to calls from the public and politicans for more flexible services. The new service is called 'Stofa MitTv' ('My TV'). Stofa said it nearly every broadcaster has agreed to the idea, although it is still in talks with KODA/Copydan, which represents national broadcaster DR and companies in neighbouring countries, among others.
