Stofa says 70% of Danes have broadband at 20-60 Mbps

Friday 27 November 2015 | 13:22 CET | News
Danish provider Stofa said its panel of 3,022 consumers value fast internet. It said 71.3 percent of respondents said web speed was important or very important. It said 69.3 percent had internet at between 20 Mbps and 60 Mbps, with only 15.7 percent having a service at over 60 Mbps. Stofa said the DKK 300 million that the government has earmarked for broadband expansion in its growth plan will not be enough. It said data traffic doubles every eighteen months.
