Streaming music app Biit to arrive in Brazil in August

Wednesday 20 June 2012 | 10:25 CET | News
Spain's Rockola Music Group said its music streaming app Biit for Android and iOS devices will arrive in Brazil in early August, with an expanded catalogue for the local market. Rockola said Biit has been downloaded about 850,000 times. Currently, the app covers some 30,000 artists, and 40,000 songs a month are added to the Biit database. The total number of Biit music tracks was not disclosed. The Biit app is an intelligent music recommendation facility with a structure similar to the Last.fm site. The free version limits use to one channel: the other three cost BRL 8 per month or BRL 13
