Streaming worth 8.5% of French music market - study

Streaming music generated EUR 27.58 million of revenues in France in the first nine months of the year, 8.5 percent of the French music market, according to music writers and performers' association SNEP. The overall market, including recorded music, concerts and other revenue streams, fell by 5.6 percent to EUR 321.3 million in the first nine months.Including downloads, digital sales reached EUR 79 million in nine months, 25 percent of EUR 242 million of total recorded music revenues. Digital music sales rose by 22.7 percent while the overall market declined by 12.2 percent. Streaming
