Sunrise announces Freedom mobile product, tests LTE-A

Swiss operator Sunrise has announced several new products and services at the first Sunrise Innovation Day on 29 January. In Q2 2014, it will launch the new Sunrise Freedom product to separate the cost of a mobile phone subscription and device. It will abandon fixed, long-term contracts, allowing customers to swap to a new device or subscription at any time. Sunrise Freedom will allow customers to terminate their contracts with 1-3 months notice.
