MultiChoice's SuperSport has announced the extension of its relationship with the Premier League following a competitive open tender process. The South Africa-based pay-TV network will once again broadcast English soccer's top tier live in the sub-Saharan Africa region. SuperSport will show all 380 Premier League matches per season on its linear television channels, as well as its online and mobile platforms until May 2022, in a three-year extension of its existing contract. No financial details of the contract were disclosed. SuperSport has held the rights since the league started in 1992.
