SVoD content has 2.3 mln viewers per day in France – study

An estimated 2.3 million French consumers (aged 15+) watch SVoD content on a daily basis, reports Les Echos quoting a survey of 42,000 respondents published by Harris Interactive and NPA Conseil. The research, carried out between 28 August and 10 September, found that Netflix is by far the most popular SVoD service, with 63 percent of respondents using it. Canal Plus' VoD service, CanalPlay, is a distant second (19% share), while Amazon Prime Video and SFR Play are in joint third place (6% share each).
