Swavitel hopes to launch operations in Swaziland in 2015

Swazi operator Swavitel is planning to launch mobile services in Swaziland next year, to become the second mobile company in the country, the Times reported, adding that. Stan Motsa, Acting CEO of the Swaziland Communications Commission (SCCOM) has confirmed the news. Motsa said his office was considering the mobile telephony service provider license application submitted by Swavitel. It was registered on 11 November 2013 and has Mthunzi Morris Shabangu as the listed director in Swaziland. There are other directors, based in Vietnam.
