Swedish civil contingencies agency works towards Rakel replacement

The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) said that the government is planning to commission it to establish a secure communication system for parties involved in public order, security, health and defence. For some years now, the agency has been working with partners towards devising a system that will eventually replace the Rakel national digital communications system. The replacement will expand data capacity and needs strict standards of security and robustness.
