Swedish data protection body queries plan to bring facial recognition to shop in Stockholm

The Swedish Data Inspection Authority has written to Nordic Tech House to question its plans to introduce facial recognition to analyse customer behaviour. The authority plans to ascertain whether this would comply with GDPR. A report on television broadcaster SVT's website said the company plans to test facial recognition in a shop in Stockholm in July.
