Swedish govt orders assessment of its broadband strategy

The Swedish Broadband Forum, which brings together public organisations and private bodies in the sector, said the government has commissioned an assessment of its broadband strategy, to be led by Kristina Alser, the governor of Kronoberg county. It is due to be complete by 31 December 2013 at the latest. IT and Energy Minister Anna-Karin Hatt said that, several years into the government's strategy, which runs until 2020, it is important to evaluate which parts are working well and which need to be changed.
