Swedish govt plans law to protect sensitive information from 2019

The Swedish government said it is proposing a new security protection law from 01 January 2019 to combat espionage, sabotage, terrorism and other crimes. It said information technology development had changed security requirements, as have the rise in sensitive undertakings by private firms, and international cooperation. The law will protect information siginificant to Sweden's security, or which must be safeguarded according to international measures.
